Broward College's Institutional Review Board (IRB) committee performs ethical review of proposed research and is charged with protecting the rights and welfare of people involved in research. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) set the guidelines and regulations governing human subject research and IRBs. Researchers wishing to conduct human subject research at Broward College must complete and submit an IRB Protocol Form.
