Class Discussion & Book Talk

Click on image to listen to this recording.

This recording is a student discussion about the book Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi. The purpose of this activity is to help other students and faculty see the value and impact this book had on the students who decided to read it through a lively discussion on the books themes and students' overall impressions of the book. Librarian Tiffany Walker facilitated both the discussion and the activity.

This activity was a part of Professor Maureen Forbes's Fall 2019 English class. For this class, students were required to read Persepolis and complete coursework based on the book. The College Read program provided copies of the book to students free of charge. Podcasting equipment was provided by the library on Central Campus.
