The UCL's Archives & Special Collections Department has moved into remodeled space on the First Floor of the UCL and they have been excited to lead tours of their new space, show artifacts on display, and share the history of Broward College.
The UCL's Circulation Desk and Lobby entryway have received a fresh new look, too. The renovated Circulation Desk reopened on July 5, 2023 and our staff is excited to serve our patrons in this updated space.
We additionally completed installing new carpet on the second and third floors and central staircase of the UCL. This matches carpet installed on the first floor and fourth floor during previous renovations.
And, our central staircase received a fresh new coat of paint during Summer 2023.
We appreciate the patience of our students, faculty, and staff as we continue to make updates to the building to better serve our patrons and building occupants.
