Over the past several years, we have made updates to the building to better serve our patrons and building occupants. We appreciate the patience of our students, faculty, and staff during these remodeling projects.
The UCL's Archives & Special Collections Department moved into remodeled space on the First Floor of the UCL and they have been excited to lead tours of their space, show artifacts on display, and share the history of Broward College.
The UCL's Circulation Desk and Lobby entryway also received a fresh new look and our staff is excited to serve our patrons in this updated space.
We additionally completed installing new carpet on the second and third floors and central staircase of the UCL. And, our central staircase received a fresh new coat of paint.
Earlier this year, the Broward College Facilities Planning Team completed coordination of a window replacement project for the second and third floors of the library. And, they are kicking off a project to upgrade the central set of elevators in our building which we expect to be completed in Spring 2026.
