Broward College students can obtain an ID card at the Student Activities Office on your campus (Central--Bldg. 19). The library’s patron database is updated weekly during the three academic terms. Your card is valid as long as you are enrolled at BC. Patrons who receive their ID card and need to use the library or Academic Success Center resources immediately will have to go to the Circulation Desk at the U/C Library to have their card activated manually. Otherwise, your card can be used at the library or online within a week. BC patrons from any campus, center, or online may use the U/C Library. If you are attending BC and FAU simultaneously, you will need to use your BC student ID to check out materials. All students must present their ID cards in order to check out materials.
Lost or Stolen ID Cards
Lost or stolen ID cards should be reported to the Student Life Office and to the U/C Library Circulation staff. Once the loss or theft of the ID card is reported to us, the library account will be blocked against further use. If the ID card is recovered, you must present a picture ID in order to have the block removed.
