Purchasing Books from Independent Booksellers

If you must purchase a book for this course, consider shopping at indie bookseller.

Independent bookstores can ship books directly to you. They also provide digital content that can download directly to your smartphone or mobile device.

Independent bookstores are bedrocks of communities. They support your local communities by:

  • employing people in the area
  • reflecting the values of the local market
  • bringing authors and book events to your cities
  • paying taxes that fund social services in your communities including your local libraries

If you decide to purchase a book consider supporting sellers who support you.
