Virtual Library Instruction & Services

All regular library instruction and services are available virtually for the spring semester. 

  • Use instruction request form below to set up virtual/ D2L instruction. 
  • Email Victor Lawrence or Cristy Moran to set up embedded librarianship within your D2L course shell.

What is Library Instruction?

Library Instruction Based on Your Class Needs

  • General library orientation and tour - A 20-minute overview of the library and resources. It may include a hands-on session of research basics, followed by a brief tour. (With tour, approx. 1 hour.) 
  • Course Integrated Instruction - A 1-hour hands-on research session where the focus is on a specific assignment or project.
  • Course series A series of two 1-hour classes. The first is a basic orientation of the library, its resources, and the initial steps of the research process. The second integrates research based on an assignment.

BC Faculty:

Your borrower ID number is your faculty ID# found on your BC Photo ID card . Your default PIN is the 4 digit code based on your birth date: MMDD. (For example, if you were born on July 04, your PIN is 0704.)
