We are here to assist you with your research for the bivariate data assignment for your STA1001 course. This research guide helps you complete your research easily and effectively.

Bivariate PowerPoint Project

You will be required to find two quantitative variables and compare them. Six to twenty-five data points must be chosen.

You will be graded on:

  1. stating your research question,
  2. displaying a table,
  3. constructing a scatterplot,
  4. computing the r-value and then describing both what the scatterplot and r-value means.

You will be assessed on: 

  1. citing reputable sources and graphics.

Each of these five components will be worth 6 points each for a total of up to 30 points.

Below is the rubric that describes how your PowerPoint poster will be graded.
