Recommended sources:

Format

  • Check with your professor for specific formatting guidelines.
  • SAMPLE GUIDELINES:
  • Typed, double-spaced on standard-sized paper (8.5" x 11")
  • Use a legible font in 12 pt. (i.e. Times New Roman)
  • 1" margins on all sides
  • ½” indent on the first line of each paragraph
  • Use one space after periods other punctuation marks
  • Include a header with the page number on the top right of each page
  • Video on how to set up your Microsoft Word document according to MLA style
