Life Member Card

The University/College Library extends book borrowing privileges to BC Alumni carrying a Life Member card and to retired faculty with a specially designated retiree College ID card. Card holders must observe all U/CL policies, fines, and charges.

Borrower Responsibilities

Your Life Member Alumni Card or retiree College ID is the non-transferable card used to check out materials from the U/C Library on Central Campus. The borrower is responsible for all items charged to the the card and is responsible for the safe return of all library materials. If an item is lost, stolen, or damaged, the card holder is responsible for all replacement costs.

Appropriate posted fines and fees are applicable for overdue materials, reprocessing, rebinding, or lost items.

Loan Period for BC Alumni Borrowers

  • Books may be borrowed for 21 days.
  • There is a limit of 5 books per patron.
  • Renewals are not permitted.
  • Interlibrary Loan service is not provided.
  • Materials or equipment in the Academic Success Center are not included.
  • Borrowed materials must be returned directly to the University/College Library.
